CONCENTRATATED VARNISH CLEANER/FLUSH FOR COMPRESSORS

Mineral oil-based compressor oils can cause lacquer-like residues and carbon build-up in rotary screw and rotary vane compressors that may form deposits in the entire oil circuit. This often results in increased energy consumption, increase temperature, clogged oil lines and filters, and high maintenance costs and downtime. Our concentrated cleaner/flush can help reduce these problems by dissolving sticky residues, varnish and carbon build-up during operation and keep them suspended in the oil.

Approximately 60 hours before an oil change is due, add our concentrated cleaner/flush to the oil fill on 1 to 10 basis. Be sure to drain enough compressor oil to allow for the additional quantity. Let the unit continue operating for an additional 40 to 60 hours at an oil temperature of 160-180F, if possible, to dissolve all varnish and carbon buildups or sticky residues. The drain the unit as the residues are flushed out in the course of the oil change. Make sure the oil is also removed from tubes, filter housings and dead corners, because the used oil fill may severely affect the fresh oil. To avoid redepositing the suspended contaminants, drain the oil while warm and replace the oil filter and air/oil separator and refill the unit with the fresh oil.
