The Porous Metal Filter-Muffler reduces exhaust noise and is designed for selective permeability with optimum filtering and diffusion for air and other gases and liquids. A tough cellular porous metal filter is secured to a steel ferrule, providing a desirable combination of strength and performance.

This model is effective for many purposes, including: muffling air valve noise; exhaust and intake filtering; cryogenic phase separation; coalescing of oil mist and water vapor; and pressure or vacuum equalization. It’s also compact, inexpensive and easy to install and maintain. The Porous Metal Filter-Muffler is particularly suitable for use where space is limited.

Recommended for general purpose air exhaust applications for pressures up to 125 PSI
