The Atomuffler® Defogger Muffler is specifically designed to reduce pneumatic noise emanating from air-operated devices and to effectively remove oil mist. This muffler utilizes a comprehensive approach to intercept, extract and condense oil to liquid droplets, which gravitate into a sump to be drained off periodically. The muffler’s design requires that it be mounted with the drain cock pointing downwards, which can then be opened periodically to empty out the sump.
