Square D EGB34050 Miniature Circuit Breaker, 277/480 VAC, 50 Amp, 35 kA Interrupt, Three Pole, Thermal Magnetic Trip

E-frame breaker are lighting panelboard circuit breakers that are proven effective and reliable which provide a wide variety or robust features that are use specifically in Square D NF panelboards. This device is a three-pole bolt-on breaker that is rated at 50 A at a system voltage of 480Y/277 VAC and the breaker is UL listed as well as CSA rated. This E-frame breaker has thermal magnetic trip unit as well as signal indicator that will indicate when a trip has occur. This specific breaker is HACR rated and HID rated. The breaker has aluminum lugs which have a terminal lug rating of AWG 12 to 2/0 AWG (aluminum) and 14 to 2/0 AWG (copper). This E-frame breaker breaking capacity has been tested a numerous voltages but at two voltages the capacity is 35 kA at 480Y/277 VAC and 65 kA at 120/240 VAC. This device has a hold current of 630 A which is the maximum current the breaker can be held to ensure it will trip and a trip current of 1800 A which is the current value when the breaker is guaranteed to trip. The circuit breaker has a height of 5.66 in, width of 2.94 in and a depth of 4.05 in. This breaker was calibrated for 40 deg C. This product is UL listed as high intensity discharge.
