The Square D by Schneider Electric brand heavy-duty safety switch is designed to be tough, reliable and provide exceptional performance in the most grueling conditions. Heavy-duty safety switches are utilized from commercial and institutional to industrial and manufacturing facilities. F series safety switches provide significantly higher levels of mechanical endurance than NEMA type KS-1 or UL 98 standards require. The design life of a F series switch is a minimum of three times the NEMA requirement. An abundance of copper is used in the heaviest current carrying power paths of all Square D by Schneider Electric heavy-duty safety switches. The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy-duty single throw safety switch has a rated current of 60 a and has a NEMA 3R/12 degree of protection. This fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200 kA at 240 VAC. This safety switch has a galvannealed steel enclosure and is surface-mounted. This product is compatible with H or K, R, J or L fuses. The acceptable AWG gauge for this product is 14 or 3 AWG, copper and has a tightening torque of 50 to 50 lb-in. This product complies to UL file no. E2875 standards and comes with an 18 month warranty. Dimensions for this product are 14.6 in H, 6.63 in W, 4.96 in D.
